Fr. Paul Erickson

Fr. Paul grew up in Saline, MI with his parents, older brother, and younger sister. After high school, he went to Eastern Michigan University to pursue a career in education. It was at EMU that he first felt called to explore the priesthood. He entered seminary in 2006 and was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Lansing on June 8, 2013. His first assignment was to a big parish on the west side of Lansing called St. Gerard as the parochial vicar. After 2 years at St. Gerard, he became the full-time chaplain to Lansing Catholic High School. He served at LCHS for 6 years before coming to St. Mary Magdalen as our pastor in June of 2021.
