ENCOUNTER RETREAT FAQS What is the Encounter Retreat? The Encounter Retreat is an opportunity to meet the Lord Jesus Christ on a personal level through exploring prayer, Word, and Sacrament. It is not a catechetical series designed to fill your head with more facts. Instead, the Encounter Retreat is designed to prepare those attending to become intentional disciples of the Lord. Who is it intended for? This retreat is for everyone high school aged or older, but particularly those who would like to deepen their personal, day-to-day relationship with Jesus Christ. I’ve been a faithful Catholic all my life. Is the Encounter Retreat for me? Yes! No matter your level of devotion, this experience will challenge you to renew your commitment to the Lord and allow you to explore His work in your life today. Do I have to come both days? Yes. The talks and experience build on previous content, so it’s necessary to be there for the entire time. What is the basic schedule? This is the anticipated schedule with exact times subject to change.
