Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
- Matt. 28: 19
The Great Commission that Jesus gave to the apostles just before He ascended to the Father is the same Great Commission that we have in the Church today: To make disciples!
Discipleship isn't a one-time decision or an overnight process. It's a lifelong progression of growing in faith and love for the Lord. That's why we've developed the Discipleship Pathway to help lead people to know and love God and neighbor.
Each step is designed to help us to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. Explore these steps and what St. Mary Magdalen offers to help us in the journey. And remember, these steps aren't a strict sequence, and certainly going from one step to the next doesn't mean that we've "graduated!" All of us need to Belong, Encounter, Grow, and Serve repeatedly throughout our journey of discipleship.
